Consolidated Shipping
Why do we recommend consolidated shipping?
Sending multiple products to the warehouse at once not only allows you to enjoy professional packaging services, but also significantly reduces international logistics costs, making it more cost-effective compared to separate shipping.
Cost Comparison Example (Using EMS to USA as an example)
Current Prices:
First 500g: ¥205
Additional 500g: ¥72
Handling fee: ¥8 per package
Assuming you have 3 packages weighing 700g, 1100g, and 1600g respectively:
1. Option 1: Separate Shipping (Submit waybills separately)
Shipping Cost Calculation:
First package: 205 + 72 + 8 = ¥285
Second package: 205 + 72×2 + 8 = ¥357
Third package: 205 + 72×3 + 8 = ¥429
Total shipping cost: 285 + 357 + 429 = ¥1071
2. Option 2: Consolidated Shipping
Combined total weight: 3400g
Shipping cost calculation: 205 + 72×6 + 8 = ¥645
Shipping cost saved: 1071 - 645 = ¥426
Consolidated shipping saves you two first-weight charges and two handling fees, making it economical.
Important Reminders
Customs in various countries typically determine package nature based on package weight and product quantity:
-
Packages weighing over 10kg are more likely to be considered for commercial use;
-
Too many similar products may also be considered commercial behavior.
To avoid unnecessary customs clearance issues, we recommend that when choosing consolidated shipping, you reasonably control the weight and quantity of products in each package.
